Lover, I’m sorry if I’m

to know the depth of my crimes

Then tell me and tell me well.

for your fury you see

brings such misery

that I must surely be in hell

Have your venomous eyes

exposed all the lies

I so carefully hid from your view

Have I caused such woe

that in your heart you should know

What is and wouldn’t be true

Lover, I’m sorry if I’m

to know the depth of my crimes

please tell me and tell me well

For the fury I see

brings such misery

It’s as if you put me through hell.
